Just seen he has signed for Cardiff, shame really have thought for a few seasons now he would be the ideal signing for our team. Always seems to have a good attitude and performs when called upon despite being preferred to the ogre who's name I can'y even pronounce. A player like this is what I think were missing... proven goalscorer and a great work ethic
Wasn't he struggling to get a start in the Reading team at times this past season? In the Championship, that's not a good sign. Although, to be fair, he got 14 goals in the Prem which is more that Campbell's ever got. I think I'd prefer neither of the above!
Its odd that ALF was making some good impact appearances in the prem, then couldn't even make it into their Championship side on a regular basis. Id rather we took some of the better champ players like Upson though, you know, poty calibre.
