This from LDV's twitter feed suggests that his spell at Bournemouth has come to an end - he wasn't on the bench this weekend.

I'm surprised, with Bournemouth qualifying for the play offs. Maybe now that he's lost out to Danny Ings in the battle for a starting spot, Bournemouth want to save on his wages. Either way, thought you'd all like to know. Any chance that he might be swapping the Bournemouth subs bench for the Fulham one?

You're probably in a better position captain than most of us to judge whether he's ready to play for us, having followed him carefully at bournemouth. I'm all for getting the likes of LDV, Briggs, Marsh-Brown and Trotta into the 1st team asap, though I haven't watched him play enough to have any idea if he's ready.

My head says he needs another season of learning outside the Premier League. But he's a natural finisher and my heart says, why not stick him on the bench and see what happens if he comes on - we're safe now, so what's to lose? If not him, than give Hoesson a run out towards the end of the Birmingham game. Now's the time to blood a youngster or two.

Having watched the youngsters many times,i agree with you Captain, another season or 2 in a lower division will ascertain if he could possibly make it or not.
I would also like to see next season some of our promising academy players getting regular playing experience in the lower leagues.
