I know it was, it was clearly a joke from me. The reason Gary Alex fell to pieces was cos he bought a house in Hedon whilst literally every other player lived west of the city so when they socialised he was inadvertantly left out. This led to him literally spending all his spare time on his own in the boozer and he got fat and p1ssed-up and it all went wrong both on and off the pitch. Why some people assumed this was a Dudfield missus connected thing I'll never know. Good to see Gary got himself back on track though and had a decent career in the end, which at one stage looked unlikely.
I understood that but my comments were aimed at others that might not have such a good knowledge and to make sure that there was no way your comments could be taken the wrong way.
He's also thre last player I know to publicly post on a messagebard, was it Hullcityonline as DidntLikeSwindon? Im sure lots if not all our players read the messageboards, a few might even post surreptitiously, but he was quite blatant towards the end that it was him. His username was hardly cryptic either... Just remembered Walters' brother also posted under Wallaseyhead.

I was always 99.9999% sure it was him. Some of the stuff he said wasnt widely in the public domain but I knew to be accurate. So who is a player posting nowadays? I'm going for Carmine, he always struck me as uncannily like George Boyd, with Greenteeth a cover for one of the Oirish lads.
He was behind the brown and ashbee event at the KC last year , he rang me from his car phone to confirm my address one day , that was an exciting day for me, I just hoped he used hands free , health and safety is no laughing matter.
