Sensiblegreeny I want to make it clear that I catergorically stand by my belief that Stapleton will be back. It is as obvious as the nose on the end of an elephant, a more assured bet than triple relegation. For the avoidance of any doubt as to my long-standing stance on this, Paul Stapleton will have involvement in Plymouth Argyle. It may not be immediately apparent, there will be attempts to hide it with this bull$hit anonymity nonesense but of course he will be back!!!! of course!!! Do you think it's any coincidence that Paul Stapleton has not had any money to put into Argyle and mysteriously neither do the anonymous "Irish" Gibraltar-based consortium or the mysterious PAFC2011 company with a Companies House link to Stapletons address??? Do you think it was purely goodwill that football club owner Ridsdale and the now outed consortium leader Heaney have heaped praise on Stapleton??? Why on earth would Heany and Ridsdale go out of their way to publically heap praise on a disgraced ex-director who is held personally responsible by most of the fanbase? Why on earth would they do that unless they are either trying to deliberately put people off even more or they are softening the blow of his involvement for when it gets outed in the future?? Clear as mud?
Joe, I am chuffed for you that you have re-found your love of Argyle, seriously I am. I know there was once a time when we used to be in total agreement that Argyle was rotten and that staying away was the best course of action. For me, the present situation is even worse and even more reason to keep the whole stinking mess ever further away at arms length. Now more than ever before there is the rotten stink of corruption and lies hanging a round the place like mozzies around an Alabama swamp and I will be having nothing at all to do with it until such time as total transparency is achieved. I find it astonishing that people are actually planning on buying multiple season tickets because the way things are going you may be lucky to see a single match or two for your money then the whole thing could be shutdown because of the corruption and rule-bending of our latest owners. A season ticket is an investment. Would you invest in a company that is in administration with no money, no plan, no resources and a new board shrouded in secrecy, doubt and suspicion?? Would you heck as like, mad as hatters the lot of you, blinded by a misguided loyalty that financial predators like Heany, Guilfoyle, Ridsdale, Stapleton etc can exploit for their own personal gain.
So Stapleton is held personally responsible by most of the fanbase is he? 1. Thats bollocks. 2. Your not part of that fanbase so go **** yourself DS, it's nothing to do with you!
Now come on greenjock don't hold back will you....... It's an interpretation at best but that is all it is regarding Stapleton or any other previous Board member. There is more information that says none of them are involved. Now I'm supposed to believe that if I buy a season ticket it will be invalid in the blink of an eye because we will be shutting down altogether before the first month is out. So, either we will be liquidated or we will be relegated. Hell of a choice but as a complete mad person I will still be buying my season tickets and rejoice in the fact that one more scouser won't be sitting next to me. There is a silver lining in everthing.
DS, you are correct in saying that i agreed with you, i don't or never have denied the fact. Yes it has changed for me, as i told you before the old board are out and the new one on its way. Why don't you give them a chance like i am along with plenty of others. No one can tell or predict what will happen, so as long as there is a club. team and some football o watch go and watch and support. You are talking the same **** you said over a year ago, you may be right but i think you will be wrong. I can't be arsed to argue the fact or insult you. You don't have to buy a season ticket, i will buy you a ticket for the first match and lets go and see shall we.
Now I really believe that Stapleton will be back. Why? - because DS said so and we all know that every prophecy that DS has made bar none (or maybe 1,2,3,4,5,6..........1,000) has come true.
joe it is the same old garbage. Lets look at this latest offering. Firstly it was kerching kerching, I'm going to bet on a third consectutive relegation and it is nailed on. Well I hope he placed his bet before the second offerring which is now liquidation a couple of matches in. You see the contradiction there? On one hand it's one thing then it is another. Lets hedge all eventualities and maybe I will get one right. Why post it? Well I would guess it is the northern arsehole coming out. Lets throw something for the yokels to chew on and sit back amused.
One time i would agree with him , but now its all changed he does not like it, I wonder if he bet on liquidation as well as relegation. I don't see either happening. Lets just wait and see. I will buy his ticket for what ever match he wants to watch at home park. Bet he would be there if it was a promotion season, like plenty of others. That's when the club should cash in and hike the ticket prices if that happens. Well his side Liverpool are spending, so he will be happy Thats his new shell suit for this season!
And I thought ds had stopped ranting. Cannot be bothered to even read his posts now. Can you block some people out ?
Thanks !!! Time people started to tHink positively and get behind this club no matter who is in charge. There is only one way to bring this club back from the brink and that is to turn out and support it. Given our plight last season the attendances were still towards the top of the league 1 averages. The away following remains very significant. Any owner / investor / player etc looks at atmosphere and crowds and support. They all come and go but the fans remain. A well supported club will always rise towards the top. Look at Southampton etc. If the club is now to be run on a sensible financial basis it needs support. A city the size of Plymouth and it's catchment area should be able to support a higher league team. Several of us exiles do our bit and are compensated in shorter away trips but longer home ones. Through all this turmoil it should be seen that with debt written off ( not by choice or in a fair way ) the club has potential. We should show them why it is so. Reidy could have easily walked away but has chosen not to. That shows a belief and is a start we should all build on. We sold our best players, couldn't fill the bench on match days but still only went down because of the points deduction. I would rather see 11 players giving their all than big name prima donnas. The players gave that last year, we gave last year so if the same happens this year and we all turn out in force the Phoenix will rise from the flames
DS, as a fan and I would hazard a guess many other fans, do hold Stapleton personally responsible for what has happended at Argyle, along with the other scum that were on the board of the club! For me it is percentage of guilt. gardner, toad, jap twat and w@nk yank! Then Stapleton and the other local directors.
