Bale and Adebayor are overrated. You may not even get Adebayor due to financial concerns. Fryers did not sign for Man U as he is probably not up to the standard required. We would have got Vertonghen, IF we wanted him. We don't. Modric staying means little. He was ineffective last season when you needed it most. It would actually be better for you to sell and spend the money on a better player. VP never said he was going, according to the statement it says he is not renewing the contract. Walcott can gladly disappear, hopefully to the spuds. Vermaelen was in Barcelona tapping up Puyol And Rosy is dead, ask 'Arry The real irony of this statement will only be seen halfway through next season, ironically enough.

You could retain all your ahem " best players "( the ones you had last time we met and thrashed you ) and we could lose our TOP striker and we would STILL laugh at spurs. this shadow you are always banging on about..what is it? how does it overshadow anyone? we are a club on the up and you know it...so what shadow? we never lose out to players over your club...so what shadow? your club is never the one that costs us trophies...so still no shadow. you might be finishng above us....but we are improving...that margin of error was wittled down to 1 point now...so what shadow? our success is based on how we improve compared to our previous season...so you will never be a shadow over our club..you need to be honest with what type of club you are these days...as these are the days we live in
You've been a club on the up for some years now, and we've been in decline. We still always finish above you though so you may want to rethink that... We are a bigger club than you. We have more money, bigger fanbase, better manager, more trophies, better facilities, better players (RVP is still here, yes), a better stadium, more history, better fans, the list goes on... the shadow is very large indeed.
