According to the Guardian, it seems a done deal. Very brave decision by the Swans, and I really hope it succeeds. I would like to see them do well next season (as long as it's not at our expense) and I'm glad they haven't settled for a 'safe pair of hands'. Next season is shaping up to be a humdinger.
Most Swans fans on Not606 seem pretty delighted with this appointment but same as you I feel it a brave choice. Laudrup has done an ok job in management so far but doesn't appear to hang around one club for much over a year (except Bromby - I think he liked it there)
i feel more comfortable with our appointment than theirs, that's for sure, but as said above, its a brave choice and maybe an astute one. i was one who suggested laudrup as a possibility for ourselves but was never overly keen on 'testing' a new manager in our second season. intriguing to see how they do...
