sousa was a huge mistake the most boring manager out there, warnock did what was needed i think he was harshly dealt with, but Hughes kept us up which the majority said wouldn't happen, and he has a good track record in the prem so we're happy to have him, hopefully now the manager merry go round doesn't include us anymore

Don't think Sousa was such a huge mistake, he did wonders for our defence and this was fundamental to our future success. He moved on after one season which suited him and us, infact we got a fair amount in a compensation deal from Leicester City which was a bonus.

Just because you didnt know he was a manager doesnt really mean much. As has been previously stated not too many fans knew about Brendan but those who coached and manged were very aware of him as an up and coming coach. As for hiring on name only that wont come into it its his philosophy and attitude that will attract our board and chairman not his name.

Oh dear. The point I was making is that you were saying that good players don't automatically make for good managers. You're right of course, but Laudrup has a track record which seems to be something that escaped you.

I also like the 'potential' idea of the extra baggage that may come with ML.

His 21 yr old left winger son 'Andreas' who was a star in the Real Madrid youth set up. He left Real when his dad left, to go back to Denmark. He has represented Denmark from under 17s to under 21s so far and scored to help FC Nordsjælland win the Danish title in their final game (qualifying them for the Champions Leage).

Only his dad will know if he is worth the possible £0.5 million transfer

here he is scoring goal number 2....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evGpq70dQQs

Now Huw .... where's that scouting job???

laudrup would do but jones would be better having listened to a few players views on him. Its dragging on a bit now so its about time jinks got his act together and appoint someone....<ok>

Dai you're repeating yourself. Once is (more than) enough. Do you think saying the same thing 20 times has any effect, or do you think it just bores everyone stupid?
