Four new videos have been posted on Player tonight. Good to see Davis and Tadanari taking part in training and good to see the lads enjoying themselves...training in Wiggins sideburns! Fonte gave two of the interviews...future captain perhaps? Nigel said that players like Barnard and Forte are looking for new clubs, but also that some players in the main squad will be disappointed when he names his 25 man squad. He said that it wasn't unusual for PL clubs to have a second squad for cups...presume by inference he means that some omitted players will get a chance there. Still talking about bringing players in including goalkeepers (plural?) and centre backs. Said that he hadn't heard about Chaplow rumours and said he's still part of the team. We are apparently going to play Man City in their backgarden, so I guess we'd better avoid their petunias.
Fonte seems to be more impressed with Davis than any other of our new signings, which doesn´t suprise tbh, I think this man will be our captain in the very near future.
The one that seemed to put a secret little smile on Adkins face was Paulo. Obviously thinks he's a gem, though that may be because he was a keeper himself. Adkins said usual stuff about being pleased with progress in preseason and mentioned that he was pleased with our performance against Ajax since Norwich hardly got a touch of the ball when Ajax played them.
