Paddy Power go Chelsea 19/10 favourites
City 5/2 (drifted from 9/4 since Sunday's poor display)
    Utd 9/2
    Arsenal 11/2
    Pool 12/1
    66/1 bar
Also took a peek at the cups.....Chels fav for Capitol 1 and joint fav with City for F.A. Cup.
At the end of the day, this means naff all but as the old saying goes the bookies are never far wrong.
No excuses or milk for little horses this season !!! Can't wait for the w/end. Come on the Chels.

I don't gamble except on the lottery, but those odds seem reasonable on what I suspect the teams will do. Liverpool are the dark horses for me!

With Utd linked to De Maria + 2 others, blimey, seems just when we look good another top 4 team strengthens again. Still think we are a striker short and another creative midfielder, though rip van winkle could come good. Might have a fiver on us at virtually 2 to 1, though the bookies usually end up with my dose.

United will not be signing Di Maria, Vidal or any of those.
Besides, their main concern should be a Centre back, because they will not win anything with Jones and Smalling at the back.

Exactly, I'm shocked they haven't addressed the centre halves yet especially with the league starting this weekend.

Jones could come good but Smalling and Evans are back ups. They need AT LEAST one top class commanding centre half to even consider challenging IMO. They are dodgy at full back too, relying on average Raphael, an unfit 18 year old and wingers playing out of position.

The should be able to blow away the lesser sides most weeks still but will find it hard against better teams who will attack them and have as much or more possession.

No big name, big fee transfers made in this area yet, but we have one or two young lads that have looked pretty good for the last couple of years. Then again we all know you win nowt with kids, you need to spend big on players other teams have given a chance to perform.
