Leeds United boss Simon Grayson says he will have to trim his squad before anymore new faces arrive at Elland Road. The Leeds boss has been under pressure to strengthen his defence but with centre backs, Patrick Kisnorbo, Andy O`Brien, Leigh Bromby, Alex Bruce, Darren O`Dea and Tom Lees already in the squad, Grayson admits he will have to get rid of a few players first if he wants to add to his squad. Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post , Grayson said, "If anything was to happen in terms of someone coming in then we`d have to let a couple go out at the same time. We`re totally top heavy, particularly in the centre-back department. "Nearly everybody is fit at the moment, really for the first time this season, and we travelled to Brighton with the 16 lads who played and six who were left out of the squad. That shows that we`ve got a good strong squad, and strong enough to see us through a tough group of games in a short period. "If I decided to bring any more in then we`d have to shuffle it around to make that happen."
O'Brien was great a year / 18 months ago, whats happened to him, he can't turn into a carthorse overnight...

Agree entirely YNBK. Elland, I also think OB did a good job last season. But we didn't haven anything like the same quality or depth that we have now. He's 30 something & isn't even guaranteed a place on the bench. Time for him to go out on loan with a view to being sold whenever someone shows an interest. Still think Bruce has something to offer, as much because he's quite young as anything else. He needs game time & at the moment he's behind O'Dea, Lees, Kisnorbo, & Bromby in the pecking order. So little chance of getting a game.
There is a Leeds fan in the pub opposite, and he's a dead ringer for Gary Edwards. Don't wonna go up to him, if its not him, I'd look like a twat. (highly unlikely, he'll be in Southampton)...

I think we need to get rid of Paynter, Parker, Bruce and AOB, either permanently or on loan, there's just no point in them being here as they won't play unless there is some kind of major disaster.
Im jumpin around the office like Tigger, with a huge grin on my face Pags. She said 'My friend is a big Leeds fan, and he wanted to know if you were Gary Edwards.' He replied 'What do you think' and apparantly had a big grin on his face' He then said that he was Gary Edwards and would be at the same pub, Brightwater Pub, Shirley High St, Southampton tomorrow.
