I know that most of my fellow Canary fans probably don't bother to watch this magazine programme from the BBC, (after all we've left lower league football behind us but if you missed it go to BBC iPlayer and watch the beginning. There's certainly quite a few unhappy binners, (as if we didn't know already!). I was amazed to hear that Town have a £66M debt, albeit Marcus Evan's debt. This got me thinking that however rich ME is supposed to be, he isn't going to want to keep losing these millions season upon season. Even to him £66M must be a hell of a lot of money. Also, the fact that he still refuses to be interviewed in public is pathetic. What is this man's agenda? Even the Town fans seem to have had enough if you ask me. One thing is for sure, after slating Delia and Co. in the past for their inept decisions, I know who I would rather be running my club. It is now obvious to me that all of our problems were of Neil Doomcaster's making. "Prudence with ambition" my arse ! OTBC
Didn't bother watching last nights after finding out last week that we won't be on. If that is true about 66M, how the hell has it got that big? Ours was bad enough at 20-30M but there were some obvious reasons for that.
Am I missing something with the Town debt? I keep seeing that it's Evans debt, and that he owes it to himself, but surely he's going to want to recoup it someday? Surely then, some of the debt will be passed on to Town. As said, even for a man of his wealth, he can't keep chucking money at the club forever.
