    NEWCASTLE:

    Manchester City (a)
    Manchester United (a)
    Chelsea (h)

1 POINT - arguably the 3 hardest games of the season, since Chelsea seem to be better away than they are at home.

    SUNDERLAND:

    Fulham (h)
    Wigan (h)
    Wolves (a)

1 POINT - tough game at Wolves but Fulham and Wigan are horrible away from home, how they haven't caught us up in the last 3 games I don't know.
    <party>

(Let's enjoy it while we can before Martin O'Neill whips them into shape).

I know you're trying to wum, but in all seriousness I really expected Sunderland to catch us up when we went through that very tough 3 game spell.

The best thing is they all expected to steamroll Wolves today just because O'Neill was in the crowd.

They must be hoping hes up for the task because theres a LOT of work to be done.

I must admit that I did find that very peculiar. O'Neill is a canny manager but he isn't good enough to radically improve a team just by being near them in a crowd. He's good but he's not that good.

Not trying to wum actually, just funny how they all thought that they were gonna get 10-12 points from 4 games and having martin O'Neill in the stand would make them walk all over Wolves.

Aye he will get them sorted out I've no doubts about that unfortunately, but the arrogance before their game today was shocking.

    This is hilarious <laugh>

I remember one of them posting a thread about how they'd be within touching distance of us after these 3 games <laugh>

Can't be arsed to look for it but someone should!

Not likely. There are worse sides than Sunderland. Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn are going down for my money, can't see how it could be any different.

Wolves who just beat Sunderland? For me I agree with the 3 you've picked, but would love to see Bolton stay up at Sunderland's expense <laugh>

I meant to say Wigan, who also beat Sunderland but I think that was due to some very kind defending.

I think Wigan will stay up, but that's just wishful thinking, I like Martinez.

How on earth can you say Wolves will go down instead of Wigan?

Wolves have some decent players in Jarvis, Hunt, Hammill, O'Hara and Doyle. Wigan are just ****e from front to back.

    Edit: Just spotted your error.

MoN will turn them around, they wont be pushing europe but I think they will end up somewhere between 9th and 12th come the end of the season

I think Martin O'neil will turn things around for Sunderland, it may not be overnight like some of them are expecting, but I'll be more than a little surprised if it goes wrong for him there.

We need to treat all games in the same way, Norwich, Swansea and West Brom will not be easy.
