Someone at work just told me that he heard speculation on the radio of Lambert going to Sunderland if/when GP gets the heave-ho!

Be careful what you wish for!!!

Out of the frying pan into the fire comes to mind!!

    I'd rather have Mike Basset.

Come on, there must be someone out there who'd say yes.

    Someone?

    Anyone?

We missed out on Pulis, what about Alladyce ?. I want Ancellotti and reckon if Ellis gives him a toot this afternoon he will leave Real Madrid by about wed, bring Ronaldo and Bale on loan then we will be ok, but they might get 2 goals between them in this team !, but I live in a dream world sometimes.

Allardici could be a good shout, out of contract at WHU in the summer and their fans have never really taken to him despite being fairly successful there. He's one of those "Premiership survival or your money back" kind of managers, which is exactly what we need.

    Probably won't happen like.

Lambert is not the solution, because the question is STILL one of supply. We have front men who can score, but we can't play the ball to them properly. Lambert would just end up looking like Danny Graham with a bigger conk.

Would rather have Di Canio back than Lambert. Just for entertainment value.

I would rather chop my cock off with a rusty butter knife than see that bellend at the SOL. A detestable bloke who is also a **** manager.

Lambert would be a massive step backwards.

If Gus does leave/get sacked who is realistically out there would want the job.

Current out of work decent managers who have PL experience the list isn't that long.
    AVB or Laudrup

I cant see any decent manager wanting the job.

I hope Gus can turn it around and like he said only way to put it right is to win on Saturday.

Gus is a far better option than any other realistic man out there. The grass is not greener on the other side. Stick with him, things will turn around. Once we get Catts and Defoe playing we'll be comfortably 12-15th
