Which one would you say is the better player, putting all feeling to one side?

I like Liverpool and I personally think that Lallana has been one of their better players since he return from injury, and that he his has talent that a large percentage of English players don't have.

However, I love watching Tadic because not only does he seem to have so much time on the ball (helped by the work of Schneiderlin and Wanyama) but he possesses an unbelievable amount of creativity and I couldn't have been more impressed with his contribution on Saturday from what I saw on MOTD. I lost count of how many assists he got, but he is the player which really shows that this season's Southampton is just as good as last season's if not better.

Tadic every day of the week. Lallana may have a better touch but Tadic's vision is unbelievable.

Oh and Tadic has the same number of assists this season as Cesc Fabregas.

Tadic is technically better and has more intelligence of the game. He's not a t**t either so that helps I'm sure.

    more direct, more complete skillset.

it's no shame to be second best to Dusan.

For me it is too soon for this. Tadic needs to keep it up for a whole season and needs to deliver in games where the opposition arent a complete shower. Swansea game he was pretty poor. Didnt see West Brom or Spurs games but from what i heard nowt too special in those either. But admittedly he does look the business.

I think it was Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank on MOTD who said Tadić plays with his head up more than any other player around at the moment. He is constantly looking for a killer pass, which as we have seen, often leads to a goal. His skill set is at least as good if not better than Lallana's, but he combines it with the vision and quick-thinking of a Rickie Lambert.

If Tadic can continue how he is through out the season, then I'd definitely agree and say he is better.

This poll is going to be highly in favour of Tadic. Regardless of what anyone says emotion will have an effect on that.

I personally think it's still too early to judge. So far though there's no question about it. Tadic is in better form that Lallana ever was with us.

Just makes me wonder how good we'd be going forward if we had both of them...

I'm done with the Lallana hate. That being said, Tadic looks better, so far.

Tadic has more assists in 8 games then Lallana had in 38, so he's definitely going the right way for sure.

We must name and shame the two who think there is no difference between them. :)

They are different styles of players, Tadic being more of a Xavi style with great vision and passing, whilst Lallana is more of an Iniesta style with quick feet and trickery.
It's easy to forget, but Lallana was the overwhelming 20013/14 Player of the Season amongst both fans and players, so he can clearly play effectively, but for consistancy of creating chances, assisting and scoring goals I would choose Tadic every time.
I can't wait to see how him and Pelle are going to link with Rodriguez, I can see Jay getting a bucketload of goals.

Nah I think public polls are better as it stops idiots from other forums voting.

We were lucky to have Lallana when we were lower league and he was lucky to have us to help his development. I think he will be alright at Liverpool, though they won't be as forgiving as we are to one of our own. Tadic is what we might have hoped Adam could be. The strange thing is that I can't even envisage Adam in our team now.

Perhaps it is time to forgive him for leaving as otherwise we wouldn't have Tadic :).
