NP said on the post-match interview that he will be a doubt, Koren was brought off with a hamstring injury.

This would be a massive blow if this is the case. He is the only one who looks like scoring at the minute.

Shame in some respects that we have to rely on our midfielders to score goals.

He'll be missed if he doesn't play but hopefully someone else will step up to the plate and score. Midfield of Brady, Cairney, Mckenna, Barmby if Koren misses out?

I'd go with Barmby too Manuel as Koren's replacement if he does miss the Donny game. Please not Evans !!!

We would miss Korens goal threat, but other than score he doesn't do a lot! And I know how daft that sounds!

Id be happy to see Evans in there, or Barmby!
NP did say Korens hamstring felt tight, so it isn't a injury it's pre-caution! Could be alright for tuesday!

Please not Barmby . His last few performances have been woeful .

Unless there's an injury/suspension to either Cairney or Mckenna i can't see Evans getting in the first team anytime soon. I know he divides opinion but i don't think he's that bad a player, just that the players in his position are doing well enough to keep the shirt. If Barmby did start I imagine we'd see Evans at some point in the 2nd half.

No way. Barmby shouldn't be playing at all, never mind starting.

I can't see Barmby starting so my bet would be Evans, but I'd rather see Barmby.

But surely, Barmby can't go a full 90 minutes? He could start, maybe....or come on as a sub. But it would be Evans filling the slot, wouldn't it?

I said in another post on this thread that Barmby wouldn't play the full game, I expect Evans to be involved at some point. Playing a full game seems to much for Barmby now at his age. Koren could yet be fit so all of this could be immaterial! Either player has a good chance of starting should Koren miss the game.

I think this shows something that hasn't being brought up the actual lack in depth of wingers whilst we have Stewart out, we don't actually have that bigger squad, or one filled with quality. It will go two ways, the defensive one in Evans or the attacking way in Fryatt.

If Pusic is ready, he might make the bench. I reckon it will be Evans, which is fine because he's more than good enough to fill Koren's boots. He won't keep him out the side, but I think he is an ample replacement.

I think as DJ says, he'll probably move Waggy out wide and bring Fryatt in up front, though I think I'd probably prefer to see Mclean moved out wide, with Waggy partnering Fryatt.

Pusic is due to return from injury and play for the reserves on Wednesday, I doubt he'll risk him in the starting XI on Tuesday.

no one pointing out that we arnt scoring enough goals home or away ? remove koren from the squad and i just dont see how we'd score. its vital to score more than 1 goal in games to take all 3 points, even with a good defense like we have.

waggy, mclean or fryatt just dont look like scoring and arnt getting many chances to score. the odd chance that does pop up and they cant finish. its a problem pearson needs to address i think, maybe bring in a midfielder on loan, someone with a pass on them.

Is Garcia still injured or even still with us? He is a good player at this level and can easy cover for Koren on the wing. I seem to recall him being top scorer at some point last season when all other options had failed
