    Didier Ya Konan is reportedly set for a move to Red Bull Salzburg, despite interest from Everton, Reading and Sunderland.

    The Austrian club have bid 8million euros (£6.3m) for Hannover's top scorer, who scored seven goals in 39 appearances last season.

    The 28-year-old Ivorian has made 80 appearances in three years at the German club but has expressed a desire to play in England.

    Interested

    He said: "I am interested in playing in the Premier League.

    "I'm like every player who wants to reach the top - the Premier League is a top league"

    Reports are claiming that Everton are focusing their interest and finances on securing Steven Pienear, which may rule them out of the race.
