I actually watched us turn over Utd while I was in Amsterdam; and I can inform you "Southampton" was on people's lips almost as much as the stroopwafels and those funny cigarettes were.

 

Koeman mentioned recently that there was a lot of interest in Saints in Holland. Helps that Koeman is more popular than Van Gaal.

I like stroopwafels. Used to like those funny cigarettes, many years ago.

As so often happens, I watch one of the videos that come up afterwards. Barça Legends: Koeman, came up. How could I stop myself from watching it..? It is irresistible though, and Ronald has more than a passing resemblance in his solid dead ball technique to a certain ex-midfielder. Word of warning though, it's nearly 25 minutes long and features Ronald's goals for Barcelona alone. They show them 3 or 4 times from different angles, but there is barely a poor goal among them. Goodness knows how long it would be if it featured all his goals from every club he played for.
