I don't think anyone on here can have a negative thing to say about this news, other than we shouldn't have to be re employing one of our most successful members of staff having pushed him out the door. It seems Clegg might have an idea of what to do in his current role and it's good to see quality members of staff in and around the club.... to balance out with the incompetent pillocks there are knocking about
..."And Ipswich could benefit from Klug's connections at Tottenham, where he leaves a job as head of player development. "I know all the players that are in the system there," he said. "Without a shadow of a doubt there'd be a few players that, if they were available, I've got contacts that would be useful." There's only one response to that.......GIO....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great appointment, should never have left in the first place. I think this shows at least one good thing about Clegg and Evans, that they wholeheartedly back their manager, as it appears this was entirely Keanes decision otherwise I doubt Klug would've come back. It's just a shame they didn't see his incompetance earlier before a considerable amount of damage was done. I like the 2 signings the club has made so far, very very encouraging signs, although there is still clearly alot of work to be done, it finally feels like we are getting some sort of direction from the club and starting to become Ipswich again.
Typical Ipswich signing over 35 Premiership reject surely we should look for young hungry people from the lower leagues another Own Goal from Clegg .
