i knew we had one Holt, but apparently we have four, and they are all likely to be for sale according to Max.
I agree with the "he's not quite good enough" group im afraid. Sure, he is a great lad and I love his enthusiasm for the game...BUT... we need to sign a striker who, if the worst should happen and RVW gets injured, can take that slot and be almost as good. IMO Jackson, Vaughan, Martin and KK will/should go leaving us with RVW, Holt and Becchio. Its needs to be someone with a little bit of class (something KK lacks a bit of, yeah he is.big n quick but nothing special with the ball at his feet). Id seriously go back in for Hooper again at a lower price (maybe £4-5m?) As he is in last year of contract.

Think we'd be silly to not sign kk. I'd be sad to see Jackson go - although think a move might be best for all convened... we'd not be were we are today without him.
Having watched today (so far) Kamara does work hard but is really nothing more than an impact player who can out jump tired defences late in a game. With the ball at his feet anywhere away from the opposition box, he is a bit clueless. Doesnt seem to have enough to get past players who have half his pace.
It was all very nice hearing his story on Sky Sports but he's just not good enough, we have enough players who cannot pass a ball. He really offers very very little. In fact I think he'd struggle at Championship level.
I just don't think he is good enough. Hughton obviously likes him because he is tall and relatively fast and a good header of the ball, unlike the players he doesn't like who are skilful and can actually pass a ball, but he really is not premiership quality. Of course that might not matter. Because Hughton is definitely taking us down to the Championship.
Quote from James Nursery who was at the game. At least he got a full 90 minutes today to prove to everyone (Hughton included - hopefully) that he's not up to the required levels.
I thought he did much better than Holt today and he was playing wide right as well. For me he has shown enough to be a good signing. As for what he offers in the opposition box, Bedford, I suggest having another look at the Everton, Sunderland and Reading highlights. Snodgrass was the real disappointment for me today, though it's the first time I can remember feeling that about him all year.
