Klopp even said he needs to work through the pain for the first few weeks to make thr injury better. Any little niggle and the pussy cries off to the physio.
I remember being 1 month into my new job and Fracturing my metatarsal. For 6 weeks i left my Crutches in the car when i was at work and worked 12 hour shifts on the go none stop.
It was agency work so id have been finished if Id tried to have anytime off.

Bunch of pussies mate, all of them have hamstrings as strong as cheese strings.

Look at Ronaldo's physique, cut like a statue and barely gets any muscle tears because he's strong as ****.

In Sturridge's case, counting his Rolex's and shaving lines into his eyebrows.

Ronaldo's physique is manufactured and all about image and kissing his mirror. Best and Giggs along with a few other skinny buggers could match him for football.

With respect, you clearly know very little about what his sort of physique can offer you on the pitch. The sheer amount of lean muscle in his legs will give him far more elevation when jumping and thrust when accelerating. Those two attributes have won big games, time and time again for his team. He'd absolutely annihilate Giggs or Best out of the blocks, that edge has got him every accolade available to him at club level over the years.

His physique is nothing to do with his image, his image has been developed off the back of his physique.

    A lot of words there.
A lot of words there. I still don't see the need for the physique he has manufactured as part of the game, he has always had a good leap etc for headers and if he was such a strong hard bruiser he would not fall over as easy as he does. I also believe he has a line in underwear which he models so needs the image for that rather than to improve his game.

Players with his natural ability never needed to be sculpted to meet the rigours of football. Which is why I made the comparison with Giggs and Best.

He wouldn't be half the player in todays game. You need to be an athlete these days to excel.

Agree the game has changed, but training and preparing for games brings natural fitness and physique. Doing gym exercises to improve image is not the same thing.

Ronaldo is a beast. He's got the physique, strength, height and pace to play any outfield position imo. He's got the Ultimate all round modern footballers physique. It's part genetic part pure discipline and effort.

A big part of it is vanity I think. It's besides the point though, vanity or not he's in absolutely peak condition and that can only help him on the pitch.

I'm sure his boyfriend appreciates it.

Don't think it's vanity. Would he train to that level in a quest for vanity if he wasn't a professional footballer? Very doubtfull imo.

I'm not saying it's all vanity by any means, more of a nice synergy of vanity having a positive effect on the pitch. I do think though that if he had a normal job he would look much the same as he does now, just not as ruthlessly in top shape.

Put it this way, if you were a fullback, would you rather have Giggs or Ronaldo running at you?

If you nudge Giggs, you'll put him in the stands. Try and nudge Ronaldo and he'll run through you.
