Kinnear on Talksport - pure gold. He spoke of a Lambeyzi twice, Ben Afra, Ben Afri, Gaultierrez. He mispronounced Ameobi and Cabaye as well. Apparently he signed Krul, and Perch was there during his original tenure. He also alleges to be able to call every single manager in the world at will. It was pure gold.

 

It's all a wind up, isn't it. Has to be. Expensive one, but it's Ashley's money, not mine.

You know what? If Mike Ashley simply came out and said "I hired him, we need to be more aggressive on transfers and smarter with getting the right players to this club. I reckon Joe can do it. It might work, it might not, but he'll try his best and I'm doing it for the benefit of NUFC......" and so on, there would be nowhere near this level of vitriol. We may think it stupid, we'd mostly all disagree, but at least if he said SOMETHING it would make some kind of sense.

Sometimes we believe that because people have money they're somehow smart. This is the most damning example of the opposite being true. It didn't even matter what Ashley did it for, if he had another motive (getting Pards out, for example) or not - this is about emotion and people, he MUST say something otherwise he just looks like a complete fcking prat. Why bother making it so hard for yourself?

There's no picture of him with Ashley, no footage despite David Craig owning the flat above the training centre's 'office'. No official line from the club, no comment from Pardew, nothing from Llambchops, nothing solid from a journalist. Even Twitter has dried up. All we have is Joe Kinnear talking endless sh!te on Sky and Talksport. It's the fcking weirdest, most batsh!t crazy thing I've ever seen at this club.

If he gets the job after that debacle we will get relegated next season. I'm deadly serious. I nearly pissed myself laughing at his 10mins of bull**** but in two months time we will see wretchedness at it most base and repugnant form.
