Could there be a swap deal on the cards?

Watford have apparently turned down a £6.5 million bid by us for Troy Deeney and we have rejected an enquiry on Andy King's availability by Watford.

    I say now....yes to a swap deal.

I just feel we have seen the best of King. He disappears for long periods in games and that is something that just can not happen in the prem.

For sentimental reasons we all want to see King do well in the prem for us as he came through our academy and has been here since League 1

He would make history as the only Leicester player to play in 3 divisions

King + 3m would do it.

    But I hope we don't.

Nice to keep an academy lad who is good enough for a squad place.

Goal scoring knack could be useless at the tail end of the season in a potential 5 man midfield

Who will be our forwards next year?

    a) Vardy, Nugent, Ulloa, Campbell
    b) Vardy, Nugent, Ulloa, Slimani
    c) Vardy, Nugent, Ulloa, Deeney

    D) or stick with Wood

Campbells wages make him a no go. Slimani might have just had a good world cup but maybe he was on the radar before the WC. Deeney's price is ridiclous

If we really want to splash out on another championship striker then we should get Rhodes

If we were to sign only one more after Ulloa (now confirmed), my preference would be Slimani ... he caused the Germans all sorts of bother and impressed in every game ... more pace and guile than Ulloa and would compliment him if paired together in some games ... (I'm loving all of this by the way - makes a bloody good change to being linked with some promising striker in L2 <laugh>)

... or in simple terms ...

Wood is solid but a little one dimensional
    Campbell is soup
Deeney is a something of a Peeny (to paraphrase AKCJ)
so for me, it has to be, .... Slimani

Who says Wood is useless in the air?

    @OfficialFOXES: GOAL! @officialcwood puts #lcfc 2-0 up with a BULLET header from James Pearson's cross. #lcfclive
