I'll start the trend as we fast approach the 18th. A 1-1 draw at the Bridge followed by a 2-0 victory over Norwich and a 2-0 defeat at Man City. A respectable start in my opinion (without my crystal ball). If anyone has a better view of the future lets hear it.
Chelsea 2-1 Us Us 2-1 Norwich Man City 1-1 Us Ambitious but why not. My prediction of Erik's prediction: Chelsea 7-0 Us Us 0-4 Norwich Man City 6-0 Us
I'll take Beverley Tiger's prediction. I thought I was being realistic until I read your optomistic post. By the way who is our new striker?
3-0 against Chelsea. 1-1 against Norwich (can see Norwich being a very good next season now they've sorted out their strikeforce). 1-1 against Man City (can see an upset for you lot here). I assume you'd all rip my hands off for that now?
Whilst that looks better than say a 4-0 loss at Stanford Bridge and the Etihad and a 1-0 win against Norwich, in terms of points (what really matters of course) the latter would be better.
Points win prizes so I would rather take 3 against Norwich and get beat against Man City. Peterborough learnt that lesson last season.
My prediction: the media will spunk themselves silly in the run-up to the Man City game and the PB team talk and the JB version of it will be shown untold times. I also predict that no 'pundit' will b shrewd enough to spot it was a pisstake of the media obsession with the first incident rather than some kid of angry rebuke to PB. I thirdly predict that we will take a big noisy following to the Etihad and win, lose or draw, you'll hear the black and amber roar.
Lose all 3, Norwich made some cracking signings lets just hope they haven't all gelled together when we play them!
