Shakira Shakira Just seen via BBC Sport that Sami Khedira is suffering from a Real Madrid cold shoulder... If LFC are in and around the top 3 come January, could we tempt players of Sami's quality? Would our lack of CL matter if we were looking strong when the winter transfer window opens???

It's often the case that we find a brilliant up and coming player other than an established star which is fine as they tend to cost less. Chances are that if he becomes available there will be a number of clubs in for him and his price will get silly.

Should have got the class Barry! Then we would be world beaters!! Don't think Khedira would come to us and apparently United had a last minute bid of 40 mil turned down last minute in the summer.
