I must have missed this but when did Kilbane become our reserves manager?

Was on the last reserve team match report stating that 'under the influence of Kevin Kilbane', or something very similar.

“A Mark Cullen brace and one from Gavan Holohan saw Hull City Reserves to a 3-0 victory over Rotherham United at Parkgate on Wednesday afternoon. Playing their first game for more than eight weeks, the City side, under the guidance of Kevin Kilbane, showed seven changes for the side that drew 2-2 with Sunderland before Christmas''

He's also linked with the managerial position at Sligo Rovers.
Found this on Twitter aswell ''@SkyEnda Big shout out to Kevin Kilbane, managing Hull City’s Reserves to a 3-0 win today v Rotherham in his first match in charge. #Ireland''

Brilliant move if true, bags of experience and keeps him off the pitch

He can't play at the moment and he's still on £13k a week, we might as well put his experience to good use until the end of the season, this seems an ideal solution.

best paid reserve manager since Solskjear probably..

he's got plenty of experience with pointing so will do well, just needs Harper as assistant and they can point their way to the reserves championship!

    good fella though Killer..

Is that 13k per week after he took a wage cut?

Top Bloke, with bags of experience.
Why all the negative ****e he always gets?
When we got him he was brought in for his experience at that level, yep he was past it on the field then and is now but his influence off the pitch as a professional is invaluable, even at this level.

To be fair, I think he gets much less ****e than most of the other players we signed on big money, he was an honest player(not his fault he was past his best) and he's a gent on and off the pitch, as was clearly shown by his wage reduction. I think he wants another season as a player and he won't get it with us, so I expect he'll move on in the summer, I doubt there's many on here who won't wish him well.

he get negative stuff, cos he was bloody useless every time he stepped on to the football pitch, not sure what the obsession is with hard workers or nice blokes around here, where a football team and i call care about is good players, i couldnt care if they where lazy , thieving, nasty arrogant perverts, as long as they knew how to pass a ball or stick it in the onion bag.

    What like Marlon King?

What sort of role model is he for younger players at our club?

    Bullard?

Would you rather of kept him aswell then?

I had a good chat with Kilbane just after he came here, while he was signing my lads shirt.

Past it - yes, but as I said he puts a lot of other pro's to shame by the way he conducts himself off the pitch as a human being.

If any of our current youngsters have learned anything from him, then its a lot more than what King/Bullard and all the other ****e have left behind.

    I thought you had ambition?

I really don't think we should be looking at an Ipswich reserve player.

maybe that makes me a bad person, it probably does but id rather have him here then kevin kilbane, because hes a good footballer and kevin kilbane isnt, and thats the honest truth.
