Be interesting if anyone has memory of a game involving Portsmouth this clown's refereed when he hasn't sent a Pompey player off. Anyone...? I'm sure he could referee Liverpool - Aston Villa and still find an excuse to send off Rocha...
Hi Raichu ! This referee was a joke - some of his decisions were beyond belief today. On a different subject, I cannot believe how "lightweight" both Carlton Cole & Diop are - it appeared that you only had to blow at them and they fell over. What a pair of wimps they are, still, nice to see them recover so quickly as soon as they had "won" their free kicks, from a very biased referee.
Having seen the short BBC coverage this evening, he was right with the pen and, I reckon, with the sending off - players all know that if they go in with feet up they will get a red. That said, he was one of the worst refs I have seen - inconsistent, over-protective of the two biggest men on the pitch (as mentioned above) and was never really in control of the game. As for West Ham, they flatter to decieve. They should have buried us towards the end of the game but looked even worse than us in front of goal. I hesitate to say it, but Stripehampton are a much better team.
We should have got at least a draw yesterday, they only had two shots on target, and we had nine. On a side note- anyone know how many games Norris will miss after his sending off ??
I don't mind if a ref awards a penalty or sending off, but i just want CONSISTENCY and fair play. the mans a tool who doesn't like Pompey.
