king kev has left the club by mutuel consent http://www.wycombewanderers.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10430~2552383,00.html gutted for him, he was a fantastic player and a club legend, pity he wasent given a better chance. good luck kev, thanks for 4 years service thought?
Shame. I hope it's what he wanted. Does anyone know where he's going? I have vivid memories of his goal (or more his celebration) against Aldershot last year on a rare visit to Adams Park. I was right against the rails to his right of the goal and when he leapt in the air in celebration it was sight to behold; it was power personified and I have a snapshot image in my head of that moment. I wish him all the best.
Good servant but to the end of last season seemed to run out of ideas with the final ball. Maybe it was just his form dipping slightly It's a shame he didn't get a chance this year hopefully he will find a new club.... League 2 I think though.
Would of been nice for it to happeren after next game, so fans and kev should show there apperication. Wish him well
good luck to betsy for the future,a good servant to the blues shame we didnt get a chance to give him a good send off.
I think its sad to see him go. There could be more leaving like this. Sandell, Betsy any one else thinks someone else could be going?
He was a good player for us for a long time but 'club legend'???? Really? Maybe if you've only watched Wycombe for the last 5 minutes.....
certainly of this era, he was fantastic in gormans day. for me he was, but then again ive only been following for about 10 years
He didn't get to start the season because of his international games, this gave other younger talents the chance. He has been a good servant to the club and often popped up with important goals. Occasioanlly went missing but on balance he has served the club well and deserves to be remembered for the good things he has done and achieved.
Sorry Jose, didnt mean to come across as harsh. I rated Betsy and he played a big part in our successes in recent years. His experience will be missed!!
