Looks like a swap involving these 2 is on the cards. Positive Odemwingie off the books. However then we have a player who is like Jay Bothroyd but with a tenth of the ability. We need a big striker though so may be ok as a short term fix.
Would be a positive move in the absence of anything better before next Friday. Odem hasn't cut it and has been very poor - Jones can score vital goals at this level and that's something we lack. Longer term is a different matter.
Strange one as it probably makes a lot of sense for both sides. I'd have taken Jones for a couple of mill at the start of the season just to do a job. Whilst he's playing hopeful Cornelius can develop into someone who can pressure him for a place. Gives us a threat off the bench if not starting, which none of our other strikers really have this season.
I suggested Jones almost two weeks ago on the CAN'T SCORE WON'T SCORE thread. Who from this board, possibly close to Tan, is feeding information back to Ole I wonder? Good win by the lads today. Spot Frazier's tribute to Tan.

Odem has been a disaster. Jones might yet be but it's one play of the 'get out of jail free' after the complete **** up of signing Odem. Jones will do a good job in the Championship if we end up there too.
