    Has he not just put his Larkhall 'eco-home' on the market?
    It was reported at the weekend that he doesn't expect to be back in Scotland for at least a couple of years.

    He's on something like 50k a week over there. He went there because Rangers wouldn't offer him the sort of wage he thought he was worth so why would he want to come back now?

    Would be a bad move IMO.

    He's 31 with a history of hamstring problems and will be losing his pace which is his main asset. He'd also have no sell on fee which makes any cost seem higher.

    I'd rather we used the money on Goodwillie (providing he's cleared that is!)
