‘I would look elsewhere’ – Bristol City eyeing 26-year-old ace: Opinion.

Bristol City are in the hunt for Derby County goalkeeper Kelle Roos.

According to Sky Sports, the Robins are keen on the 26-year-old who is out of contract in the summer.
Roos is in discussions over a new deal at Pride Park but could leave on a free if an agreement fails to be reached.
The Robins are currently in the play-offs and pushing for a place to the Premier League for next season.
Having only made his debut in January, Roos was impressive covering between the sticks for the injured Scott Carson.
Sky Sports understands that a host of Dutch clubs are keeping tabs on the stopper, as well as Stoke and Hull City in the Championship.
And those 13 performances have alerted the attention of a clutch of clubs.
There looks to be increased competition for the signature of the goalkeeper, who may even remain at Pride Park.
If he doesn’t, however, would he be a good signing for Lee Johnson’s men?
We asked our team of FLW writers their thoughts…
    Jay Taylor
“I can’t see him usurping Frank Fielding between the sticks at Ashton Gate.
“He has been impressive, but if Roos wants to play second fiddle again, this could be a good move.
“There’s potential for Premier League football next season, too.
“But I can’t see this being the best decision the goalkeeper ever makes; I would look elsewhere.”
    George Brooks
“Bristol City are likely to be looking for a new goalkeeper in the summer with question marks over the futures of Niki Maenpaa and Frank Fielding, and Roos could be a good replacement.
“He’s also out of contract at Derby in the summer so it would be even better for the Robins if they could get him on a free transfer.”
    Louie Chandler
    “Solid.
“I like Roos, and he has done a decent job for Derby when called upon this season.
“If he could stomp out the occasional sloppiness the Robins will have an excellent goalkeeper on their hands.”

looks as though a couple of our goalkeepers could be departing in the Summer, I wonder who - Frank Fielding, Niki Maenpaa or Stefan Maronovic, I think Max O'Leary is safe and he has the benefit of being an academy product.
