What are your thoughts on Keith Andrews? i have not seen him play yet but i saw a couple of his goals which were crackers. What type of player is he and can he do a job for us?

He has scored two brilliant goals for us but in the two games he has played we have conceded 12 goals! I dont think he can be fairly judged yet but on initial viewing I cant say I have been overly impressed by him other than his two finishes.

I just hope he still has some contact with his ex team mates at the MK Dons. I would love to have Dean Lewington come here! A strong solid player and definately captain material. Come on PJ start looking down the leagues and not premiership has beens!

true JWM, It should be noted that the signing to make the biggest impact so far has come from a lower league club.

Don't think Andrews is going to get anyone excited but if he grabs 10 goals this season to help us stay up then he'll have been worth his place.

He's done more in 2 games than Leadbitter has done in 86.

I quite like him actually, him + Bowyer together will be a good combination.

Sooner donkey Leadbitter goes, the happier I'll be.

Just gonna do some maths here regarding Grant......
    Signed for £2.5 mill..
Signing on fee lets say £300,000
    Wages approx £15,000 a week x 52 x 52 = £1,560,000

That absolute donkey has cost us the best part of £4.5 million. To me, he isn't exceptional at anything at all.

    Yes he is.

I didn't want Grant in the first place, I thought he was overated and a massive load of £££ down the toilet.

Hopefully he goes to Pompey before the transfer window shuts.

I thought Leady was going to be better than he has been but he has done nothing since his arrival. I hope he goes to Pompey too.

Having watched the Posh debacle do you really think Pompey will still be interested in him, christ i bet even Sudbury Town would turn their noses up at him now!!
There are loads of decent players in the lower div's and i have to say that it really annoys me when PJ goes on about it being difficult to sign a CB as all the Prem clubs want big squads, then look at the ****ing lower divisions you scouse twat!!

I thought although unfair to judge him on the past 2 games he looked solid without being spectacular(apart from the goals) good strenght and rarely looses the ball but rarely goes for the ambitious pass. Him and Bullard pulling the strings in midfield, sounds good to me!!!

Also by this time next year will we actually have any of Keane's signings playing for us?? I've never known such a quick turn around of plays but boy was/is it needed.

Lewington should have bettered himself by now if he has any aspirations greater than being involved with that plastic little club. Very solid left-back who could play a part in any Championship team.

You're giving Leadbitter a hard time. He's an exceptional midfielder who just happens to be off form. He got Sunderland promoted and I've seen him play a few outstanding passes during his time in a Town shirt. He has also scored more penalties than he's missed.

This. However it would be harsh on our best new young signing in Aaron Cresswell as we pretty much promised him 1st team football to come to us instead of WBA.

However I would take Baldock from the Dons any day of the week.
