I recon one of the the first bits of business that should be attended to is a few new contracts - namely to Adel, Paddy Kenny and Faurlin as the main priorities - try to get a bit of morale back in after two of them were unhappy with the previous regeim's. Thoughts.....

If they want new contracts they'll have to earn them. Adel needs to prove himself in the prem before we start wasting money on him, plenty of other fish in the sea if he don't cut the mustard!

There is certainly no need to rush into sorting out any new contracts. After last weekend no one will be busting a gut to sign any of our players. It may be worth looking at again in, say, November.

Last weekend was a learning curve for the team. However, one deflected goal, one deflected own goal and a corker from cahill that no one would have saved - just trying to put some clarity on this. Let's just remember last year Blackpool won 4-0 at Wigan and got relegated...I would be happy if we stayed up after losing last week.

the players now know what they have to do to stay up. Clint was a silly boy, however he was elbowed first but someone of his age and experience I would have thought he would have known better.

If the players want a better deal, and more wages, now is the time to prove they are worth more. I do hope that if they do get what they want, then clauses are put in so that the wage goes down IF we get relegated.

Ninj, I think the FA made wage reduction clauses mandatory in the case of relegation.
