If you get a chance to look at any of the downpipes at Glasgow Central, we fitted them about 3 years ago. (Renewed some of the ones that were failing)

Why not just get a train to Dumfries and avoid Glasgow?

He's getting ready to flit once Scotland pulls the plug on England and votes Yes.

An Irish Englishman in Glasgow? Always welcomed (unless it's the divisive and bitter spastic, Weevil)

That is exactly what i thought Mick - indeed i booked the bloody train to Dumfries. However, the organisers said Glasgow's 1 hour and Dumfries itself is 1 hr 30. All very, very bizarre. I'm guessing one of the sponsors is the Glasgow cabbies alliance.

West coast line is very nice - and usually pretty good which probably means that there'll be an almighty crash next week.
