I've been one of his biggest critics however the timing of him stepping up at the end of the season can't go unnoticed...he hit form right at the end when we needed it. I'm pessimistic about his ability the next level up, but I wouldn't offload him just yet. He deserves a season to try and prove his worth at this level but he's got his work cut out. I expect a couple of new strikers brought in at least and they'll push him for a job...hopefully this will ignite some more fire in him. I do feel he gets but-licked far too pften by fans because he's a local boy who supports the team...you can't ignore his inconsistent play...we need a twenty goal a season striker and he's got to show me he's capable...which I'm not sure he is. Love his work ethic, but it only gets you so far. Being a striker is all about end product.
