Anybody going to see her at the 22 night stint at The Hammersmith Odeon (or is it Palais) I can never remember. Always been a big fan of her music. Reminds me of a modern day Edith Piaf.
Yup. When I heard she was "touring" I thought great, once in a lifetime. You can hardly call 22 nights at the same venue a tour.
I think you can tell a lot about a person based on their reaction to Kate Bush. Firstly, Ah wid But her music is ****e white people's music for ****e white people, faux operatic, cheap trick orchestral, music writer's, middle-class soul-less pish of the highest order. Liking Kate Bush negates you from being able to label any other music pretentious. She is ****e and everyone who likes her is ****e. Dem's the bottom line FACTOIDS, right there. She's a big bag of drama school hoach wrapped in a pumpable exterior.

Sublime. Utterly sublime. A superb performance from a superb artist and I was privileged to be there. My daughters managed to get a ticket and gave it to me early as yesterday was my birthday. I've been to many gigs in my lifetime and this was a unique experience. I don't want to give away any spoilers to those who have tickets for later performances so won't say anything about the actual content of the show except to say that anybody expecting a medley of greatest hits will find themselves in for a surprise. Even her 17 year old son Bertie makes an appearance as a backing singer. She has clearly passed the talent gene on to him..!! I was a little surprised at the setlist, but we have to remember.... this is Kate we're talking about and she does things her way. If she'd gotten up on stage and played Chopsticks I would have been happy. I was buzzing all the way back to my digs where it took me a long time to drift off to sleep. Now I'm enjoying an excellent breakfast before catching the train home. I'll have a couple of hours on the train to drool all over my programme then close my eyes and relive the whole show all over again. All I will say on her actual performance is that she is note perfect throughout every song. Her voice is still as amazing as it has ever been, and she still moves with the lithe, lissom grace of a teenager. The show is so complex in its construction and relies on so many additional sets for the conceptual pieces and theatrical elements that it would be extremely difficult to take on the road. I had to travel from the south coast to see this show and there were many there from other parts of the country as well as from overseas so obviously nobody had a problem with having to go to London to see her. Anyone who thinks it's too much trouble to get on a train will miss out. That's their loss. All in all, it was magnificent and those who have tickets for the rest of the series of concerts, I can tell you that you will be royally entertained. I wish I could see it all again. The woman is a genius.
Yep. It's all part of the great London-centric conspiracy, type thingy. Besides, you ****ing yokels don't appreciate "art".
Jesus OT I know but talking about ****e http://www.irishmirror.ie/showbiz/irish-showbiz/daniel-odonnell-comforts-cliff-richard-4113419
