There has been some speculation in various threads recently about Kasami's position at the Club. Here is an interesting take by Jol not only on him but the other youngsters that he thinks highly of - http://www.fulhamfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/FulhamTV/0,,10415,00.html Just as interesting is that those he mentions, including Kasami who I see as the old fashioned No 10 , are all forwards.
Nothing I disagree with there, his small comment on Kasami is very telling though. Kasami probably thinks he can win every game (the penalty row earlier in the season backs this up) but Jol wants to ease him in. The ones he mentions are forwards because those are the only youngsters he's played for the first team, with the exception of Briggs.
In fairness he does mention Gecov too. He has the right idea though: If they're good enough, they're old enough.
Fair points by MJ. If they are better they will play. Unfortunately the youngsters lost the opportunity to qualify to the later stages in Europa League. That would have put more pressure to the senior team members and naturally more rotation... so they should look in the mirror and ponder how they allowed 2 goals by Odense in the space of 10 mins...
