Seems to be favorite to get the job, and seems to be quite a decent, young manager. MK Dons beat Rochdale 3-1 at the weekend and he seems to play 4-3-3. So if he came in and Nigel takes Waggy and Fryatt, which is likely, would he play this?

    Koren---McKenna---Evans
    Brady---McLean---Stewart

I reckon it would work, thoughts?

I would like either Karl Robinson or Roberto Di Matteo. Hopefully with either of those as manager we might start scoring more goals. It will be interesting to see who is brought in when January comes with whichever manager we get. I like NP as our manager but his head's been turned by the money and the chance to complete unfinished business so I say good luck to him and move on. I would like for us to keep Steve Walsh though, he was the best part of the deal with regards to the backroom staff.

Dowie's Hair - I have no idea about the bookies, but I would like to see him here

TopTigersFan - I agree, those two are probably my preferred choices along with Lee Clark, and Walsh has done a superb job since coming here, it is extremely likely that he will go back to Leicester with NP though.

There's no way in the world he'll take Fryatt. He wont sign him for the 3rd time so soon and - anyway - he wouldnt get in their team.

Fryatt is getting back on form though(?) and Beckford keeps misfiring for Leicester, don't really think NP will put David Nugent as a lone striker, not the sort of gaffer to do that, if you et what I mean?

Have to say that Warren JOYCE would be a welcome addition to that list as far as I`m concerned. Has intimate knowledge of how to get the best out the Man U youngsters, has developed since being here first time, when the managers job was thrown on him, in the most desperate of circumstances under the shadiest bunch of owners I`ve ever known. People who disregard JOYCE because he was sacked at the club first time round seem to forget that was his first taste of managing, he has since had a spell at Royal Antwerp and is now gleaning invaluable knowledge under SAF.

I want Lee Clark, but Karl Robinson seems to be emerging as a contender.

Pete Winkleman is saying he expects an approach (as per Radio Humberside) and I clearly remember, around the time that Ince went to Blackburn, him giving an interview were he said that he wouldn't stand in the way of his managers going to higher level clubs if they felt it would improve their careers.

Is he? God I hope we don't see an out-of-form Fryatt then!

Even if he was in form, NP wouldn't come back for him. There's much better than him.

There has been no official announcement from either end, but I think we all know that it is going to happen.

I like Robinson, even if he is 31 (I think). Eddie Howe's done a half-decent job at Burnley, and he seems to be quite similar.

Agree about Joyce but would rather he stayed at United and continue to send us their best youngsters. My number one choice is Ole Gunner Solskjaer whose worked with the United kids before and hasn't done too badly at Molde. Can't see it happening though sadly.
