Going to be an interesting day Saturday at Sheffield. While Liverpool are clearly not involved there will be a lot of emotion around on the back of this week's decision plus 30,000+ Wendies fans wanting them to confirm their play off place.

If we can keep our cool in that melting pot and frustrate their players and fans early on we could come away with a sneaky win to further confuse emotions.

Not an afternoon for our fans to upset South Yorks police either. They are not known as the most level headed when it comes to policing games in general.

Despite all of that, it is good that the inquest jury came to the right decision. I cannot imagine the horrors experienced at Leppings Lane that afternoon.

nice one bfb..........not sure the date(nugent loan from Chelsea scored) but it was just after the Liverpool game and we played away at Hereford, we sold out our ticket allocation but thousands including me made the trip looking at getting in at all costs>>>>well the away gates got locked before kick off and we got told we needed 2 go in the home end which many of us headed straight away, the ones that got in the home end first started having some trouble with the farmers, so they herded us back 2 the away end which 2 our surprise thy gates where open so we all ploughed in trying 2 get away with free entry>>>>>we were getting crushed against the fencing until the Cardiff fans stated spilling over into the home section>>>>>>in the end we had the three sides of Herefords stadium, but luckily it didn't end with any major injuries or some ones final breath. tiz a scary experience not having the strength 2 hold off a mighty force that squeezes the life out of you I tell thee, nothing you can do bar hope <ok>

be an interesting game this wknd>>>>I hadn't twigged we be the next up there.............well lets hope the northern old bill have some time 2 reflect during the game hey>><shame on them>

Just shows how these things happened in old fashioned stadiums with totally inefficient policing. Very unlikely nowadays with most all seaters or mostly all seating. Has killed the atmosphere in many places though.

the old fashion stadiums were death traps that's for sure(Bradford an example).........these days the atmospheres are poor mainly due 2 forced sitting by over the top stewarding(little hitlers).................we could and should have the terraces back mind and Germany is a clear indicator of how it can work AGAIN hopefully.

fingers crossed for the future hey <ale>
