And my wife wants to drag me out to lunch in a local hotel with two poxy English friends who don't understand the meaning of the word "Sport" and my passion for everything sporting with a ball.
Tomorrow is the Lions up against a good Aussie XV and Sunday it's Andy Murray v Jockowic.
How can lunch with two uninteresting people comapare?

I love Wimbledon, can't believe how close we are to a winning men's finalist. I'm getting excited thinking is this the year we finally get to see one? I can remember 1977 when we were in school and the teachers brought TV's into the rooms to watch Virginia Wade won the women's final.

But this weekend is really entertaining watching the Lions final test tomorrow, Wimbledon final Sunday knowing I'm seeing City next weekend and to top it off we are entering a heat wave.

No Hawk, my wife is the attractive one. the other two are a male/female couple who do nothing but talk about their two daughters and one granddaughter all the time. As boring as watching the Gas try to play football on the grass.

We've had here in Central Portugal, about ten days of 39°C during the day and even now at 23.20pm, it's well over 30°C outside. Bloody unbearable as it is also humid. Sat in the house with air conditioning set at 22°C.

Can't wait to get back to Bristol permanently in September. Just waiting for the buyer to sign our promissory note and pay his deposit. No going back for him then!
