Scored yet another beauty with that right foot of his.

We really NEED to get straight on the phone to his agent at the start of the transfer window.

He's got beast pace, good skill, decent passing ability, decent finisher when cutting in on that right foot from the left. He's only 21 and would cost nothing in transfer fees!

Ben Arfa from the right cutting in on his left, Hoilett on the left cutting in on his right.

    Hoilett-----Ba/Cisse------HBA

Fap fap fap fap fap fap fap.

I know there'll be other clubs after him, but I think we'll have more than a good chance of getting him if we immediately offer the lad the chance to move from a relegation fodder to a CL/Europa League club, plus 50k a week and a decent bonus. I assume we wont be too hesitant on offering him good wages due to no transfer fee, like the Marveaux signing.

8 goals for him for the season now from the wing on a **** team!

This is a new article tonight? Are we just stating really very obvious things then that everyone's been saying for ages? ....

    Stewart Downing is overrated.

Don't make me dig out my posts from last summers transfer windown then....!

edit I'm just being tired and arsey. I like to have individual opinions of players and it annoys me when everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Hoilett is a fantastic player and I would love to have him here I was very taken with how he played in the 2-1 at SJP last season and this season he seems to have really upped his consistency.

Also there is a transfer fee to be decided by tribunal which could be as high as 8million. This is because he is under 23. Still I think he's worth that but I wouldn't give him 50k a week just yet.

He is one of many options for us in an area I think they'll see as third or fourth priority. Left back and centre back being key, with central midfield possibly an area where we may lose one, look to improve the quality. I've said for a while now I like him, and think he'll be good value transfer fee wise. Fits the profile too. Wages could be an issue if a bidding war starts, his situ known to all.

There are other options too all with their own pros and things which make their likelihood uncertain. Young Frei at Fulham (fee, availability), Moses at Wigan (has he turned down a new contract?), Johnson at Man City (wages, fee, availability). Then there are the ones we've been linked with previously like young Zaha at Palace. Of course you can never rule out a Graham Carr special. Some fairly unknown from France, Holland.

I think of the home ones Hoilett and Moses would seem most likely.

Moses is another player I have liked for a long time and I was gutted when he went to Wigan as I think he should have come to us even though we were in the Championship at the time. However I do not think he is as good as Junior Hoilett and yet would probably cost the same. He's a bit more raw if you know what I mean but to have such pace and power out wide can be very useful. Zaha is another brilliant shout - I'm not sure he's ready to start every week in the Prem if we are to be pushing for Europe next year. That is why it would be so fantastic if we could get to the CL group stages because that's worth an extra player and maybe we could take on a Hoilett and also a prospect like Zaha. We've seen with HBA what difference a player who can beat his man can make. Think about the first goal yesterday-HBA floated past 2 people before the cross. Sigurdsson would be another fantastic buy though I'm worried if we did sign him we wouldn't get the cover for Tiote that I feel we do need ideally (though Perch has performed admirably I think back to Spurs away where Perch and Guthrie were anonymous). M. Diame of Wigan is someone I need to see more of but who was fantastic as SJP earlier in the season. I'll be watching him closely next week.

Money doesn't come into it - the fee is to be settled by tribunal.

Incorrect! it will come down to who pays his agent the most.

His agent is his father and thus will probably prefer the best move for his son regardless of what agent fees he's offered. Checkmate.

Or maybe him and his son would agree to share the fee they would get.
