He half made a blunder in his last game. And we know the outcome when a goalie isn't good enough for QPR!
Potential yes, but I wouldnt want to trust him just yet. Ideally wed have Cesar and Butland but now were stuck with Green.
Surely, if Spunky does sign another goalkeeper so soon it's all but an admission that he made a mistake in signing Theresa in the first place?
Makes me laugh that most were slagging green off and saying he wasn't good enough. Now we're signing a top keeper so many moaning about that too. Moaners park rangers
It could be worse. We could have signed that prat who let the ball through his legs against the USA a few years back.
Possibly our back up goal keeper
Yeah just read on the grape vine that terms agreed and he is just having his medical so he can play tomorrow. Was rated the 3rd best goalkeeper in the world 3 years ago. Poor old Green.......this could be the end for him as his small confidence will be obliterated.
How reliable is that information? IMO good thing if its true. I believe sparky wanted another goalkeeper before that swansea catastroph but hasn't find anybody proper one before right now,. I think its good think to put two good keepers to fight for their spot. Our goalkeeper department is now one of the best in the prem. Ave Cesar!
Sports NewsCesar set to join QPR - and go straight into starting line-up By talkSPORT | Friday, August 24, 2012 Queens Park Rangers are set to conclude a deal for Julio Cesar today – and Mark Hughes plans to throw the goalkeeper straight into his starting line-up for Saturday’s clash with Norwich. Hughes made his move for Cesar, who is surplus to requirements at Inter Milan, after Rob Green endured a nightmare debut as QPR crashed to a 5-0 defeat at home to Swansea in their opening Premier League game. talkSPORT understands QPR have agreed personal terms with the player and Cesar, capped 64 times by Brazil, will undergo a medical at Loftus Road today. And, should the 32-year-old pass his medical and the deal be completed in time, Hughes is ready to ditch summer signing Green after just one game and hand Cesar his debut at Carrow Road.
