Conor McGregor has turned himself in to police following a backstage melee at a UFC event in New York.

The NYPD were keen to speak to the Irish fighter after footage emerged that appeared to show him throwing a railing at a rival's bus during an unannounced appearance at a press conference in Brooklyn on Thursday.


McGregor was caught on camera with a group of people in a loading dock at the Barclays Center before a vehicle carrying long-time rival Khabib Nurmagomedov and a number of other UFC fighters was targeted.

 

Cos Khabib's entourage had threatened one of Mac's mates, so he jumped on a plane and went to sort them out. Bunch of 'hard men' wouldn't get off the bus.
