@Agent_ITK: #Leicester want to take Josh McEachran on loan from #Chelsea #cfc #lcfc”

Class player. Only 18 but would take Andy King's spot in the diamond easily.

Would that be every 3 games though when it's his turn to play in the rotation policy!

    He's not a striker! Priorities!

Regarding rotation, I'll be amazed if Sven changes the team for Southampton - unless we make some more signings that is.

Superb player. Would have thought him more suited to a normal midfield though from what I've seen. Didn't look like a 'behind the striker' sort of chap. From what I gather, you lot have already signed more than enough bog-standard central midfielders anyway.

Ummm. We have too many defensive-minded midfielders (Danns, Fernades, Wellens, Abe) We really only have King is an attacking midfielder, Dyer's a wide player and Gallagher and Vassell...well they're suposed to be strikers but aren't really good enough for those positions so we tend to just facilitate them where we can, so usually they play wide. King hasn't had a good start, so as suggested, he could take his place.

Thought Danns and Fernandes were both box-to-box sorts? Just staying static in your own box rather than venturing to the opposition's? McEachran seems like one of these players who likes to pull the strings from deep rather than burst forward and get shots away like King does from the hole behind the forward(s). He'd definitely be a good acquisition at this level though, wherever you played him.

Danns is definitely not a defensive-minded midfielder, Fernandes and Abe I'd say are and Wellens I'd say is versatile, not necesarily defensive or offensive.

But I agree we don't need any more defensive mids. Don't know much about this lad myself so I don't know if he is one or not.

I defo prefer Wellens in a "mopping up" position to attacking. Fernandes likes to get forward a lot for defensive player, but then so does Bamba!

End of the day though, I hope Sven's not being distracted from his main priority - a striker. We can't have Vassell up front all season!
