After plying his trade in the French top division, he starts in the Premier league tonight at Goodison Park. Anybody still questioning his decision to leave and think he'd be better off at Sunderland? Go on lad...
People believed we'd be better off with him here ... ... we may well be in the same division next season. Hope he does well though, I only wanted him to stay until the end of the season.
Yes I'll be rooting for him. His decision is clearly justified if you look at it without Sunderland tinted glasses on. How would people react to us re-signing him do you think? Perhaps on loan in the championship in a year or 2? I'd be up for it but I reckon he'd get a broadly bad reaction.
I think for many it was the manner he went tbh, does anyone think he had any intention whatsoever to sign a new contract?
if i remember right didn't we piss him around with contract talks but then when we wanted him to sign he ****ed around with us ,That was a time when SD had no dosh and sold all of our best academy players
I don't understand this. Bordeaux came in for him when he was doing well for us and he seen that as a natural step-up and he also explained he thought it would make him a better footballer experiencing another league. I thought it was all fair enough tbh and have never held anything against him for it.
Yep 10% and I think Fulham are paying around 9 million for him. I'd assume it to be 10% of the profit and not the overall transfer fee.
As far as I’m concerned he’s still wearing the red and white if his Fulham goals gets them points that relegate the mags
