This kid may well be excellent but it is yet another Dad and Lad situation to sit alongside Allen/Hessy/Stimson. As a matter of principle it would be far better for them to pursue a career elsewhere where they will get fair and objective treatment. For every Dad and Lad situation that works there must be a dozen that end in tears.
bristol407 - wasn't the same said about Charlie Allen ? - and I think that most fans ( if not all ) have been pleasantly surprised with that result thus far. Normally I would share your thoughts about objective assessment being better elsewhere - but I actually think that in the case of Charlie Allen he has had to try a bit harder than the rest of the squad to justify his place - and hasn't really disappointed. I am certain that MA will show no favours - whereas Hess certainly suffered from that sentiment.
Your comment about Charlie A having to try harder is probably right and supports my argument about objectivity. In reality, for every excellent Charlie A it does not outweigh the burden of 12 Charlie Stimsons. In fact most Charlies should be avoided.
Can't find any information regarding his vital statistics ! - I'm talking height !! From the pictures I can see, I guess that Moreman is tall and slim. I'm happy that Gills continue to look to find players that may improve on our current squad - or who could be lined up for the future. Some may say that we already have a prolific goal scorer from non league ( Birchall ) - but he has yet to get going, and of a different style of player due to his physique. I think that an acquisition of someone like Moreman could be very useful - given that Kedwell might burn himself out ( as he seemed to do in the second half of last season ) - and shouldn't cost too much /or offloaded quickly without a drain on our finances - or could prove to be the next source of transfer income if he succeeds.
