It has been reported on Sky Sports News that Gowling is to leave on a free at the end of the season after failing to do a deal with Hess...
I think this is a shame as he has played well since coming back from his loan spell and with Simon King looking like he will never play again and Lawrence being 36/7, it leaves us with jsut Richards and Sinclair for the long term...big blow

No good having Sinclair for back up, Also you forgot we have got King when he ever comes back. Hope King comes back good, But doubt so.

this isnt good news at all. i think he made his mind up when he went out on loan. i feel after matty he is out best centre back. i think sinclair and richards have to leave in the summer.

Pah, it's all just agent's talk. At no point has Josh ever said "I'm leaving". He's just being placed nicely in the shop window. If we go up, he'll stay. If we don't, then maybe we just can't afford to keep him. But yes central defender is again extremely high on the list for this summer.

He's been miles better since he returned from Lincoln. Much more confident and talkative on the pitch. I always preferred Gary Richards but on current form I think Gowling is the better option. Certainly worth retaining if possible.

Yeah I like Garry, he is one of my Favorites, But losing Gowling would be sad, I would normally pick Garry over Gowling, But on current form Gowling is better.
