    After watching it, I really have no idea. At one point it sounds like he's definitely going (perhaps after his contract is out), but 20 seconds later he says he's happy here.

    What concerns me though is the bit at the start, about how the club isn't the same when he arrived, and also the "I know there's some difficult things in the club". In reference to the contract, he also says he's 'happy with that', so I'm not sure if it means that he's just happy with the remaining year and doesn't want anything else.

    He's probably gone like.

    I happy enough to wait until the summer and see where this pans out.

    I still believe there's a part of him looking to see who we bring in before he makes his mind up,if we sign a few top players then I think he'll possibly stay put unless Cashley wants to trade him in. He'll have one eye firmly on the European championship next year too and will be keen to impress the Spanish coach.

    Yesterday's Late Kick Off is on iplayer now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/i/b010hcqn/?t=7m14s It's only a one minute segment from a full interview which will come on the next episode. The tone of his voice doesn't sound as bad as the words do in plain text.

    All this tells us is that he'll either;

    a) Stay
    b) Go to another PL club
    c) Move abroad

    In short, it's a waste of time as it states the obvious. Every player's situation falls into one of those categories. There's no other option other than retire and that's unlikely!

    But I think he's a goner. If that means we keep Tiote and Barton then so be it. As long as we get decent players in this summer. If we only spend £10/£15 million I'll be pissed off seen as we'd have gained £50m in transfer income and c. £30m TV revenue. Spend the TV revenue, invest the transfer income in the club and youth development. That'd do.

    I think what he is trying to say is that he is happy to stay but if a big club come in with an offer for him, he would be interested in going if an offer was accepted. We can't read too much into this.
