Bournemouth look shook, but 15 games to pick up probably 10 points, they should be ok. I'd piss myself if Leicester went down, I think a defeat to Sevilla could really kick them in the balls, although the way we're playing I can see them beating us on Sunday. Last night Hull looked good enough to stay up but they have to sustain that and score goals, over the next 15 games. The three I'd put money on today, are Sunderland, Hull and Middlesbrough. Each of those teams have won 4 games each, Boro drawing 9, they all need to start turning draws into wins.
Same with us against Spurs! But I think you're right about the 3 to go down. Although, like you, I'd love to see Leicester relegated!!
I didn't see your game mate, but any team has to play well to keep a clean sheet against Spurs. You're on 16 points, draws just ain't gonna keep you up at this stage and you're not scoring enough in open play, one goal in 6 games from open play. We're suffering from the same thing, just not enough goals from other players, overly reliant on our main striker.
Pity isn't it - we had 2 very good chances from open play on Tuesday - both fell to Bornin who looks so short of confidence that they might as well have fallen to me!! If we play like that every game we'll win more than we lose - but we need 7 wins and a couple of draws to stay up from 15 games. Stranger things have happened but I just can't see it this season - I don;t blame Moyes - how good would Rory McIlroy be with his hands tied together!
He's spent 35 million, not sure what you mean by having his hands tied together? He has chose to continue playing Januzaj without giving Khazri, a fair chance. Ellis Short, has to take a lot of blame, of course he does. Moyes needs to split it with him, though. 50/50
I kinda have no idea why your chairman persists with Moyes, he is obviously out of his depth. DM should go back to League 1/2 and start again.
We'll just have to agree to disagree - I don;t believe Moyes has spent anywhere near that - those are the figures reported by the papers - which also reported that we paid £4m for Ji (whereas it was a million and the other 3m were wages he'd be payed over his contract) so those number I always take with a pinch of salt (also the moneys are probably not as simple as spending £35m - the deals may total £35 million but I reckon nowhere near that has actually been spent (and, when you structure a deal, the selling club has to accept the structure - which very few PL clubs do)
Because we have chopped and changed to much, mate. We finally got it right with Sam, but got dropped in the **** when the FA came calling. We need stability now, we can't keep changing managers all the time. I want to give him a chance in the Championship, if we have the sort of season Norwich and Villa are having, then he needs to **** off.
We paid 8 million for Djilobodji and 13.6 million for N'Dong. I think that's pretty much out there for everybody to see. 7.5 million for Gibson and Oviedo, the rest went on McNair and Love. Everywhere is reporting pretty much the same figures.

The Sam v Moyes comparison was bound to happen mate if for no other reason than we actually seemed to be on the up. That in itself was a rarity over the last few years.
He'd probably do really well at a club like West Brom where he's got enough leeway to build things from a safe platform. Someone on here said the other day that they thought he was more of a builder than a firefighter. The thing is, we need neither of those at the minute. What we need is a fire-lighter; someone who can offer a bit of inspiration, both to the players and in terms of finding the best tactical solution to our limited squad.
If we're being realistic, our best option is to hope that Moyes can pull it out of the bag. The only real alternative that could I think of has already gone to Swansea. So there's no real alternative- which is why I keep having this same tantrum over and over. If we're going slightly less realistic then two of the most interesting managers around would be Bielsa and Carlos Bianchi- they both think differently and at least Bielsa is currently out of work. Given the way managers change clubs in Italy so regularly one or two of the currently unattached Italian managers might make an instant impact like Luigi De Canio or Delio Rossi. Long term stability suggests unfortunately though that sticking with Moyes is probably the best option.
Depends on the outcome of this season...If we are relegated I don't see any high profile manager worth his salt would want to risk his reputation on us. However, there is Paul Heckingbottom at Barnsley an Ex Sunderland player (although didn't actually get in the 1st team) who...according to my mate who is a Barnsley fan, has them playing really attractive football..
I'd go for someone young ish with some fresh ideas. I liked that Sanchez Flores who managed Watford, not sure where he's at now.
