    Signing of the summer? The lad has looked in total control every game he has played and yesterday really summed up for me the fact that he is one of the top left-backs in the Premier League for me...

    Spain LB within 6 months
    Agree Real or Barca may come calling, he will cost minimum £20m though

    I wouldn't swap him with any other LB in the EPL. Incredible player, just a shame Downing isn't on the same page at the moment.

    He'll be a regular for Spain before long, that's when it's going to be hard to keep him as Barca will probably naturally want him. And lets be fair he can't really turn it down considering he's Spanish.

    Great player though. Quick as lightening, strong as a bull, excellent passing range, and quality close control.

    We were all saying it for the last 2 years but no one took any notice. Glad he's finally getting recognition, I only wish he had got in the Spain squad while still with us, he might have stayed.

    Yep. Wouldnt even have minded him going if he was on a long contract, at least when we sell top players we get a decent fee for them, but couldnt do so in his case.

    True. It's odd, left and right backs don't seem to go for large sums of money, despite good ones being hard to find.
