Take the money we've got too many failed centre halves, if we get some money then we can buy another complete waste of space.

hope he continues to do well, shame he never really got the chance at celtic.

mr lawell, the most money in the bank trophy is sewn up. can you please see fit to give lennon a large amount of money to buy a keeper a centre half and a striker. i promise i wont complain if you sell loovens, bangura, cha, juarez, murphy, o'dea, samaras. if you can find some one that will take big dan off you feel free to give him away

Good luck to him. Shame it didnt work out - but better players than him have failed to live up to expectations at Celtci park. Feel he wasnt given many chances - and sometimes you need a run to show your true self - but at Celtic if you dont take any small chance you have it wont happen. He had plenty of time in training to show the management he was worth a punt - clearly he didnt.

As Shaddowknows says above - heres hoping Lennon wil get to see the money this time

I suspect he just didn't fit into the Celtic pattern, which is slightly strange because it begs the question.., why buy him in the first place..?

He fitted into the Saints defence from day one. We were in a slight panic as we were rotating our fit CBs to partner the main man, Jose Fonte. As you may know, our ancient CB, Jaidi has had a hip operation, and intends to retire after this season anyway. He's served us very well, but is rather getting on. Aaron Martin is too young and inexperienced to be trusted, at present, and Dan Seaborne was attacked outside a nightclub and received near life threatening injuries. He's recovering, but won't be back just yet. So that left a hole in the defence which Jos more than plugged. As he says, he clicked immediately with Fonte.

Jos was not good enough to play for Celtic. He talked a good game but he did not match that with his performance on the field.
The manager who bought him was away within 4 or 5 months but he just wasn't good enough for us. I am not surprised that he has appeared to be good at a Championship team and I hope he has a long and successful career at the Saints.
It was inevitable that Celtic would be selling some of their loaned out players and hopefully a squad player or two. We are building up a good first team squad of 14/15 players and probably need another one or two class players to complete the squad.

The Championship is much stronger than a lot of outsiders give it credit for. You need to be a good player to be comfortable in it and a very good player to excell in it. Personally I think you guys missed a trick with Hooiveld, but if the money goes towards a player that does make a difference for you, then good luck to you.

When he first arrived, he looked like a player who hadn't played much for a while. He came very good once he'd shaken off the ring rust.

I give the championship a lot of credit, there are some good players in that league as the WEPL clubs prefer to shop
in foreign fields, giving the impression that because the player has a strange sounding name and his background is not clear.
The money laundering owners are happy with that type of purchase, than giving an English bred or trained from a young age
a chance. I will be delighted of Jos makes it with your lot, I don't think too many Celts will lose any sleep over him.
